How it works

Send us the plan. We do the rest.

  1. Watercolor illustration of district materials moving into a navy PlanStory case1

    You give us the data.

Strategic plans, goals, measures, timelines, evidence, board materials, and the context behind them.

  2. Watercolor illustration of finished PlanStory public views pinned to a presentation board2

    We build the views.

We turn the raw material into finished public views: a community data story, a board-ready page, a leadership dashboard.

  3. Watercolor illustration of a PlanStory dashboard connected to board, district, and community audiences3

You share it with your community.

Your board, staff, and families open one link and see where every goal actually stands.

Board-ready presentation

A strategic plan should look credible the moment it appears on the conference room table.

We pair your district's story, clear data displays, and your district's branding so the plan feels credible before a single chart is explained.

Sample formats

The same district plan, rendered four ways.

Browse the screenshots, then open any sample to explore it live. All four are built from the same plan.

Static preview

Open full sample

All four previews use the same fictional district, Lakeview Community Schools, and the same underlying plan data. The only difference is the format, matched to the audience and the meeting it has to serve.

One source of truth

All four views read from the same plan data. Update a measure once and the community story, board page, dashboard, and context page update together in the same publication cycle. Each audience sees a different depth, never different numbers.

Branding

Design before data

The plan should feel recognizable before it asks people to interpret numbers.

FAQs

Common questions before a district starts.

Is this software or a done-for-you service?

Both. You get a finished interactive plan, and our team does the structuring, writing, design, and launch with you. You are never left alone with a blank template.

Does this replace our board packet?

No. It gives your board and public a clearer standing reference, while board packets can still carry the official agenda, motions, and supporting documents.

What if our data is messy?

That is common. The One View and Three Views packages work best when data is organized; the Custom tier can include data cleanup, measure shaping, and help deciding what should be shown publicly.
